Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) is successor to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV). Base code (this is the layer of which is shipped from Microsoft) is the same for both products. The difference is how customization is handled. With NAV partner makes changes directly to the Base code and ships in database to his clients. Each new update for Microsoft is a painful upgrade process. BC handles added code in different way with a focus to be fully upgrade-able each time. It comes with lot’s of limitations. It’s a challenge both for Microsoft and partners to overcome those limitations and will eventually put a side painful upgrade processes.
On top of Base Code partners we have delivered multiple extensions. Help for these extensions will be described separately.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) je naslednik Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV). Osnovni kod (ovo je sloj koji se isporučuje od Microsofta) je isti za oba proizvoda. Razlika je u tome kako se obavlja proces prilagođavanja klijentu. Sa NAV rješenjem partner vrši promjene direktno u osnovnom kodu i šalje u bazu podataka svojim klijentima. Svako novo ažuriranje za Microsoft je bolan proces nadogradnje. BC rukuje dodatim kodom na drugačiji način, sa fokusom na potpunu mogućnost nadogradnje svakog puta. Dolazi sa mnogo ograničenja. I za Microsoft i za partnere predstavlja izazov da prevaziđu ta ograničenja i na kraju sam težak proces nadogradnje.
Pored partnera Base Code-a, isporučili smo više ekstenzija. Pomoć za ove ekstenzije biće opisana posebno.
